وما قدروا الله حق قدره اذ قالوا ما انزل الله على بشر من شيء قل من انزل الكتاب الذي جاء به موسى نورا وهدى للناس تجعلونه قراطيس تبدونها وتخفون كثيرا وعلمتم ما لم تعلموا انتم ولا اباوكم قل الله ثم ذرهم في خوضهم يلعبون ٩١
وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦٓ إِذْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٍۢ مِّن شَىْءٍۢ ۗ قُلْ مَنْ أَنزَلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورًۭا وَهُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ ۖ تَجْعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًۭا ۖ وَعُلِّمْتُم مَّا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ ۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِى خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ ٩١

قَدۡرِهٖۤ
اِذۡ
قَالُوۡا
مَاۤ
اَنۡزَلَ
اللّٰهُ
عَلٰى
بَشَرٍ
مِّنۡ
شَىۡءٍ ؕ
قُلۡ
مَنۡ
اَنۡزَلَ
الۡـكِتٰبَ
الَّذِىۡ
جَآءَ
بِهٖ
مُوۡسٰى
نُوۡرًا
وَّ هُدًى
لِّلنَّاسِ
تَجۡعَلُوۡنَهٗ
قَرَاطِيۡسَ
تُبۡدُوۡنَهَا
وَتُخۡفُوۡنَ
كَثِيۡرًا ۚ
وَعُلِّمۡتُمۡ
مَّا
لَمۡ
تَعۡلَمُوۡۤا
اَنۡتُمۡ
وَلَاۤ
اٰبَآؤُكُمۡؕ
قُلِ
اللّٰهُۙ
ثُمَّ
ذَرۡهُمۡ
فِىۡ
خَوۡضِهِمۡ
يَلۡعَبُوۡنَ

Mereka tidak mengagungkan Allah sebagaimana mestinya ketika mereka berkata, "Allah tidak menurunkan sesuatu pun kepada manusia." Katakanlah (Muhammad) "Siapakah yang menurunkan kitab (Taurat) yang dibawa Musa sebagai cahaya dan petunjuk bagi manusia, kamu jadikan Kitab itu lembaran-lembaran kertas yang bercerai-berai, kamu memperlihatkan (sebagiannya) dan banyak yang kamu sembunyikan, padahal telah diajarkan kepadamu apa yang tidak diketahui, baik olehmu maupun oleh nenek moyangmu." Katakanlah, "Allahlah (yang menurunkannya)," kemudian (setelah itu), biarkanlah mereka bermain-main dalam kesesatannya.1

The Qur'an is a book that describes itself. There is no other book that I have read or know of that describes itself in a manner with which the Qur'an speaks of its own uniqueness and eloquence. What is even more remarkable is that the Qur'an speaks of yet another glorious book in equally magnanimous and beautiful praiseful attributes—the Torah.

(وما قدروا الله حق قدره) أي: ما عرفوه حق معرفته في اللطف بعباده والرحمة لهم؛ إذ أنكروا بعثه للرسل، وإنزاله للكتب. والقائلون هم اليهود؛ بدليل ما بعده، وإنَّما قالوا ذلك مبالغة في إنكار نبوة محمد -صلى الله عليه وسلم-. ابن جزي:1/278.
