۞ انما يستجيب الذين يسمعون والموتى يبعثهم الله ثم اليه يرجعون ٣٦
۞ إِنَّمَا يَسْتَجِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَ ۘ وَٱلْمَوْتَىٰ يَبْعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ ٣٦
۞ اِنَّمَا
يَسۡتَجِيۡبُ
الَّذِيۡنَ
يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ ؕ
وَالۡمَوۡتٰى
يَـبۡعَثُهُمُ
اللّٰهُ
ثُمَّ
اِلَيۡهِ
يُرۡجَعُوۡنَ
٣٦
Hanya orang-orang yang mendengar sajalah yang mematuhi (seruan Allah), dan orang-orang yang mati, kelak akan dibangkitkan oleh Allah, kemudian kepada-Nya mereka dikembalikan.

More and more I am noticing most of us
don't actually listen. And if we do listen,
it's only to respond.
Allah explains here (6:36) that change only comes
to those who truly listen.
In surat Al-Mulk 67:10 the disbelievers will
say: If only we had listened and reasoned,
we would not be among the residents of the fire!
My teacher once said listen to everyone as if
they are your teacher.
Remember it's not about who is saying what but
