واذ قال الله يا عيسى ابن مريم اانت قلت للناس اتخذوني وامي الاهين من دون الله قال سبحانك ما يكون لي ان اقول ما ليس لي بحق ان كنت قلته فقد علمته تعلم ما في نفسي ولا اعلم ما في نفسك انك انت علام الغيوب ١١٦
وَإِذْ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَـٰعِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ءَأَنتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ ٱتَّخِذُونِى وَأُمِّىَ إِلَـٰهَيْنِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِىٓ أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِى بِحَقٍّ ۚ إِن كُنتُ قُلْتُهُۥ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُۥ ۚ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِى نَفْسِى وَلَآ أَعْلَمُ مَا فِى نَفْسِكَ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّـٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ ١١٦

قُلۡتُهٗ
فَقَدۡ
عَلِمۡتَهٗؕ
تَعۡلَمُ
مَا
فِىۡ
نَفۡسِىۡ
وَلَاۤ
اَعۡلَمُ
مَا
فِىۡ
نَفۡسِكَؕ
اِنَّكَ
اَنۡتَ
عَلَّامُ
الۡغُيُوۡبِ

Dan (ingatlah) ketika Allah berfirman, "Wahai Isa putra Maryam! Engkaukah yang mengatakan kepada orang-orang, Jadikanlah aku dan ibuku sebagai dua Tuhan selain Allah?" (Isa) menjawab, "Maha Suci Engkau, tidak patut bagiku mengatakan apa yang bukan hakku. Jika aku pernah mengatakannya tentulah Engkau telah mengetahuinya. Engkau mengetahui apa yang ada pada diriku dan aku tidak mengetahui apa yang ada pada-Mu. Sungguh, Engkaulah Yang Maha Mengetahui segala yang gaib."

It caused me to think, at a time when Allah is questioning Jesus A.S infront of all humanity including Christians concerning the accusation that his followers had made about Allah swt that would've caused the earth and mountains to erupt.

فما بال أقوام لا يعبؤون بسؤال الله لهم يوم القيامة : يحرفون الكلم عن مواضعه ، يفتون بدعم الظالم ، ويلوون السنتهم ويتركون محكم النصوص واصول الدين ويتمسكون بكل نص يرضي سلطانهم ويدر عليهم الربح والمكانة.

What has always intrigued me most about this powerful passage is the question: why does Jesus AS provide such a long response to a question that he knows very well that Allah SWT already knows the answer to? Surely Jesus AS didn't doubt that Allah SWT knew that he was innocent of the claims made against him that he called his followers to his own worship, so couldn't he simply answer with : 'No I did not'?
