خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ كَٱلْفَخَّارِ ١٤

Isn't it interesting that Allah tells us that our bodies are made from an extract of clay. And then we read about a punishment for people who disobeyed Him (by following their bodily desires) came in the form of baked clay (clay that has been exposed to great heat)? It almost seems like a literal display of someone reaping what they sowed. Allahu A'lem

I'm fortunate to live near a river, where its banks yield this very clay when the water recedes. You'll find its fragments there - some larger, interconnected, others separate. For me, it's a fascination, a reflection of my own creation.

Inverted Vessels
We use clay pots for cooking. My mom always reminds us to wash and invert them on the shelf after use, lest any harmful or toxic pests crawl in and leave their venomous residue, making them irreversibly contaminated.

This verse made me think, Like wow! we humans are created from CLAY! like what are we so proud of. We are nothing but simply parts of clay, yet we forget that and consider each other superior over others maybe cuz of our looks or race or other worldly, materialistic factors.
We must humble ourselves and reconsider our creation and what we are actually made from everytime we are proud of who we are.

We all are aware that how beautiful surah Rahman is. One of my favorite about this Surah is its first 4 ayahs.
Because those 4 things described in 4 ayahs have a 'top' level.
55:1 ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
'The Most Compassionate'
This name of Allah s.w.t is one of His most favorites. This attribute of Allah is for everyone no matter if they are righteous or evil. This name shows the unconditional love and care of Allah s.w.t.
55:2 عَلَّمَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ

He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];
بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
From both of them emerge pearl and coral
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
