فتقطعوا امرهم بينهم زبرا كل حزب بما لديهم فرحون ٥٣
فَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ زُبُرًۭا ۖ كُلُّ حِزْبٍۭ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ ٥٣
فَتَقَطَّعُوۡۤا
اَمۡرَهُمۡ
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
زُبُرًا ؕ
كُلُّ
حِزۡبٍۢ
بِمَا
لَدَيۡهِمۡ
فَرِحُوۡنَ

Kemudian mereka terpecah belah dalam urusan (agama)nya menjadi beberapa golongan. Setiap golongan (merasa) bangga dengan apa yang ada pada mereka (masing-masing).

Reflection is a very central aspect of being a muslim and in our relationship with the Quran itself. The Quran emphasizes it. For example,
أَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا۟ ٱلْقَوْلَ أَمْ جَآءَهُم مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ ءَابَآءَهُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Is it because they have never contemplated the Word ˹of Allah˺? Or ˹because˺ there has come to them something that did not come to their forefathers? (23:68)
