What I love so much about the Quran is that it doesn’t strip the emotions out of people, but magnifies them. Sometimes when people have trouble at a business or organization, they ask to speak to a manager or the owner. This is usually because they have hope that their problem can be resolved by someone who has a higher level of authority or has more power to resolve the issue.

'This Surah held up a mirror I wasn’t ready for.'
There’s something uncomfortable about Surah Taha.
Not because it’s hard to understand
But because it’s hard to face.
I used to read the story of Musa (AS) like a bedtime tale. Familiar, safe.
He stood before Pharaoh. He parted the sea. He made history.

He was afraid.
