In previous ayaah we learn that Allah said The great amount of ease comes with difficulty.

But we can't sit around and do nothing even when we know Allah Ar-Rahman providing blessings towards us.

Then, Allah continue told us to be productive in order to gain the great ease in life.

Productive doing things which are both beneficial for our dunya and akhirah.

'When your find yourself free, exhaust yourself.'

May Allah always guide us to s...

Just like our bodies need shelter, our hearts need a shelter as well.

But sometimes instead of seeking shelter and refuge with Allah, our hearts seek refuge in things that provide a false sense of security.

We escape into television, social media, mindless or sinful entertainment, video games, excessive food consumption, harmful substances, our own thoughts, etc. While recreation is a good thing to refresh and rejuvenate the minds, we have to ...

Some days you'll feel like a deflated balloon. Like all energy and motivation has been sapped out of you. You want to hide away and avoid life. We've all been there.

But hopelessness has never been an option for the believer, and it's not an option for you. This doesn't mean you have to put on an act and pretend to be the happiest person in the world. This doesn't mean you're not allowed to feel sad. But it does mean that you have to reach deep...

Don't be too hard on yourself.

Ramadan taught me not to be too hard on myself if I can't meet my own spiritual goals. In Ramadan 2020, I had more time and opportunity to do varied acts of ibadah than in 2021. Initially, I felt overwhelmed with not going above and beyond as I had done the previous Ramadan. But, Alhamdulillah, I realised that witnessing Ramadan is a blessing in itself! And I should make the most of it in the best possible manner, ...

Standing in the cardiac ward today with the holter momitoting device waiting for my echo is totally a new experience from chemotherapy ward to orthopedic then to chest , a struggle since almost three years .
I was just pondering and reflecting
Where I'm now
What is inside my heart
Is this illness changed anything in me spiritually?
Why Allah swt has put me in this situation?
I have full tawakul that Allah is Al Hakeem
I was just for sometime lo...

'So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
And to your Lord direct your longing.'( 94:7–8)

'‘So when you have finished, then stand up, and to your Lord direct your longing’ — this Qur'anic principle is among the most powerful and profound calls to action and to diligence in making the most of one’s time before regret overtakes.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

O you who sits, with your mus’haff between your hands.

O you who sits contemplating the words of Allah.

We did not pick the Book of Allah by ourselves!

It is Allah who has led us to every good, it is Allah who led us to distinguish from right and wrong.

It is Allah who has cited examples of the best of people to follow. It is Allah who has shown us through the Quran and the ...

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

I had made a simple but sincere Dua to go to Makkah and Madinah. I had no idea it would be accepted so quickly. It was as though I had been teleported to these two most sacred cities. I was getting my head around being in the places which are the most sacred places in the world.

My heart, being very heavy and I was ready to pour everything that was disturbing it, to the Lord of ...

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

As we approach the end of 2024, these verses beautifully remind us of the hardships we’ve endured—as an ummah, as Muslims, and as human beings. Today, like many others, I find myself reflecting on the challenges I’ve faced and pondering how I can use the endurance they’ve instilled in me to navigate the opportunities and trials that the new year, insha'Allah, may bring.

The words, 'So surely with hardship...

I was leading a life of a passive Muslim. The perpetuity of my day-to-day logistics was based on earning money for my sustinence and pleasing الله سبحانه وتعا لی. Unfortunately, the former has such an intensity from adolscent conditioning and worldly desires - it overpowers your resilence to what truly matters. Pleasing your Lord becomes secondary - how abhorrent to be gradually overtaken by such philosophy. I had fallen victim in becoming a pass...Voir plus
