ونزلنا من السماء ماء مباركا فانبتنا به جنات وحب الحصيد ٩

The palm tree stands tall, its fronds stretching toward the sky, swaying gently yet firmly in the wind. It is among the most honored trees in the Quran, mentioned multiple times as a sign of provision, resilience, and divine wisdom. More than just a tree, it is a lesson, a reminder, and a reflection of the believer.
One day, the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) sat with his companions and said:

کھجور کا درخت اونچا اور مضبوط کھڑا رہتا ہے، اس کی شاخیں آسمان کی طرف پھیلی ہوتی ہیں اور ہوا کے ساتھ ہلکی سی جھولتی ہیں، مگر جڑوں سے جُڑا رہتا ہے۔ یہ قرآن میں کئی بار ذکر ہوا ہے، رزق، صبر اور اللہ کی حکمت کی نشانی کے طور پر۔ یہ صرف ایک درخت نہیں، بلکہ ایک سبق اور مومن کی پہچان ہے۔

Verses 6-11 contemplate on Allah’s creation.
Verse 6 mentions the sky and then verse 7 goes down to the earth. Verse 9 and 10 once again show this rhythmic connection where the water comes downwards from the sky and this makes the earth grow and thrive and trees soar upwards.
Allah ﷻ is gradually showing us how two things so far apart in distance on a human scale are actually so perfectly interlinked in a purposeful system. And then ayah 11 ment...Voir plus

Upon reflecting on Surah Qaf - ayah 22, one is reminded strongly of the temporary nature of this dunya. One can imagine it as similar to one who is half asleep, only to suddenly have cold water thrown on their face, rapidly waking them up, making them aware of their surroundings.
