يمنون عليك ان اسلموا قل لا تمنوا علي اسلامكم بل الله يمن عليكم ان هداكم للايمان ان كنتم صادقين ١٧
يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا۟ ۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا۟ عَلَىَّ إِسْلَـٰمَكُم ۖ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَىٰكُمْ لِلْإِيمَـٰنِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ ١٧

أَسۡلَمُواْۖ
قُل
لَّا
تَمُنُّواْ
عَلَيَّ
إِسۡلَٰمَكُمۖ
بَلِ
ٱللَّهُ

عَلَيۡكُمۡ
أَنۡ
هَدَىٰكُمۡ
لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ
إِن
كُنتُمۡ
صَٰدِقِينَ
١٧
Ils te rappellent leur conversion à l’islam comme si c’était une faveur de leur part. Dis : "Ne me rappelez pas votre conversion à l’islam comme une faveur. C’est tout au contraire une faveur dont Allah vous a comblés en vous dirigeant vers la foi, si toutefois vous êtes véridiques."

The word mann (منّ) comes from the root m-n-n (م-ن-ن) and is an intense form of the word, which means to cut something and leave with it.
