ولله ملك السماوات والارض يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء وكان الله غفورا رحيما ١٤
وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًۭا ١٤
وَلِلَّهِ
مُلۡكُ
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
يَغۡفِرُ
لِمَن
يَشَآءُ
وَيُعَذِّبُ
مَن
يَشَآءُۚ
وَكَانَ
ٱللَّهُ
غَفُورٗا
رَّحِيمٗا
١٤
A Allah appartient la souveraineté des cieux et de la Terre. Il pardonne à qui Il veut et châtie qui Il veut. Allah demeure cependant, Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.

وقدمت المغفرة هنا بقوله: (يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء) ليتقرر معنى الإطماع في نفوسهم، فيبتدروا إلى استدراك ما فاتهم. وهذا تمهيد لوعدهم الآتي في قوله: (قل للمخلفين من الأعراب) إلى قوله: (فإن تطيعوا يؤتكم الله أجرًا حسنًا). ابن عاشور: 26/166.

Surah Al Fath was revealed in its entirety after the event of Hudaibiyyah. Ayat 9 lists 4 To Do Things from Allah SWT directed to the Companions RA. These instructions demanded that they turned their focus away from their disappointment in not being able to perform Umrah .
They were told to focus on
