I found it beautiful how horses show up in both Surat al-adiyat and Surat sad, even though they’re talking about different people. In both places, horses represent a deep love for worldly things, not just owning them but being emotionally attached to them. The Quran even uses similar wording (mutashabihat) about hubb al-khayr, which made me look at these verses alongside each other.
