( قال يا قوم لم تستعجلون بالسيئة قبل الحسنة ) ، أي : لم تدعون بحضور العذاب ، ولا تطلبون من الله رحمته ؟ ولهذا قال :( لولا تستغفرون الله لعلكم ترحمون)
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
