يخبر تعالى أنه أرسل إلى ثمود القبيلة المعروفة أخاهم في النسب صالحا وأنه أمرهم أن يعبدوا الله وحده ويتركوا الأنداد والأوثان، ( فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ ) منهم المؤمن ومنهم الكافر وهم معظمهم.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
