۞ افمن يعلم انما انزل اليك من ربك الحق كمن هو اعمى انما يتذكر اولو الالباب ١٩
۞ أَفَمَن يَعْلَمُ أَنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلْحَقُّ كَمَنْ هُوَ أَعْمَىٰٓ ۚ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ ١٩
۞ أَفَمَن
يَعۡلَمُ
أَنَّمَآ
أُنزِلَ
إِلَيۡكَ
مِن
رَّبِّكَ
ٱلۡحَقُّ
كَمَنۡ
هُوَ
أَعۡمَىٰٓۚ

أُوْلُواْ
ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ

Celui qui sait que ce qui t’est révélé de la part de ton Seigneur est la vérité, est-il semblable à l’aveugle ? Seuls les gens doués d’intelligence réfléchissent bien, 1

I came to pause at this ayah tonight. When we ponder upon the Blessed Qur’an then we come to reason, come to understand what is truly upright. We come to understand that this Book is the truth. We come to the conclusion it is full of mercy and even the warnings from Allah are a huge mercy upon us. Thunder strikes fear in the heart of people. Its deep rumbling wakes up sleepers and makes children cry.
Yet this verse teaches us that there is a difference between perception and reality. It may be a terrifying sound, but it is truly tasbeeh, praise of God, something beautiful and heavenly.
Similarly, the sky may be clear and things appear safe, but something strikes suddenly from the sky, shattering the normalcy.
