وَمَا
يَسۡتَوِي
ٱلۡبَحۡرَانِ
هَٰذَا
عَذۡبٞ
فُرَاتٞ
سَآئِغٞ
شَرَابُهُۥ
وَهَٰذَا
مِلۡحٌ
أُجَاجٞۖ
وَمِن
كُلّٖ
تَأۡكُلُونَ
لَحۡمٗا
طَرِيّٗا
وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُونَ
حِلۡيَةٗ
تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ
وَتَرَى
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
فِيهِ
مَوَاخِرَ
لِتَبۡتَغُواْ
مِن
فَضۡلِهِۦ
وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ
تَشۡكُرُونَ

Cele două mări1 nu sunt la fel; aceasta este bună, dulce, plăcută la băut, iar aceasta este sărată şi amară. Şi totuşi din fiecare [dintre cele două] mâncaţi carne proaspătă şi scoateţi podoabă pe care o purtaţi2. Şi tu vezi corăbiile despicând apa pentru ca voi să căutaţi îndurarea Sa. Poate că voi veţi fi mulţumitori!
