وَإِن
كَذَّبُوكَ
فَقُل
لِّي
عَمَلِي
وَلَكُمۡ
عَمَلُكُمۡۖ
أَنتُم
بَرِيٓـُٔونَ
مِمَّآ
أَعۡمَلُ
وَأَنَا۠
بَرِيٓءٞ
مِّمَّا
تَعۡمَلُونَ

و اگر (کافران) تو را تکذیب کردند، پس بگو: «عمل من برای خودم، و عمل شما برای خودتان است، شما از آنچه من میکنم بیزارید، و من (نیز) از آنچه (شما) میکنید بیزارم».

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
The Command to be Free and Clear from the Idolators
Allah said to His Prophet : `If these idolators belie you, then be clear from them and their deeds.'
فَقُل لِّى عَمَلِى وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ
(Say: "For me are my deeds and for you are your deeds!") Similarly, Allah said:
قُلْ يأَيُّهَا الْكَـفِرُونَ -
