Al-A’ráf 7:96 ولو ان اهل القرى امنوا واتقوا لفتحنا عليهم بركات من السماء والارض ولاكن كذبوا فاخذناهم بما كانوا يكسبون ٩٦
وَلَوۡ
أَنَّ
أَهۡلَ
ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ
ءَامَنُواْ
وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ
لَفَتَحۡنَا
عَلَيۡهِم
بَرَكَٰتٖ
مِّنَ
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
وَلَٰكِن
كَذَّبُواْ
فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم
بِمَا
كَانُواْ
يَكۡسِبُونَ
٩٦
Pero si la gente de esas ciudades[1] hubiera creído y tenido temor [de Dios], les habría abierto las bendiciones del cielo y de la Tierra. Pero desmintieron [a Mis Profetas] y los castigué por lo que habían cometido. 1

Allah mentions here the little faith of the people of the towns to whom He sent Messengers. In another instance, Allah said,
فَلَوْلاَ كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ ءَامَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَآ إِيمَانُهَا إِلاَّ قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّآ ءَامَنُواْ كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذ
