فلما نسوا ما ذكروا به فتحنا عليهم ابواب كل شيء حتى اذا فرحوا بما اوتوا اخذناهم بغتة فاذا هم مبلسون ٤٤
فَلَمَّا نَسُوا۟ مَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَٰبَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَرِحُوا۟ بِمَآ أُوتُوٓا۟ أَخَذْنَـٰهُم بَغْتَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ ٤٤
فَلَمَّا
نَسُواْ
مَا
ذُكِّرُواْ
بِهِۦ
فَتَحۡنَا
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
أَبۡوَٰبَ
كُلِّ
شَيۡءٍ
حَتَّىٰٓ
إِذَا
فَرِحُواْ
بِمَآ
أُوتُوٓاْ
أَخَذۡنَٰهُم
بَغۡتَةٗ
فَإِذَا
هُم
مُّبۡلِسُونَ
٤٤
Cuando olvidaron lo que les ocurrió a quienes los precedieron [la miseria y las enfermedades que los azotaron] les abrí las puertas de la fortuna, y cuando estuvieron felices con lo que tenían los sorprendí con el castigo, y fueron presa de la desesperación.

فتحنا عليهم أبواب كل شيء كان مغلقًا عنهم، (حتى إذا فرحوا بما أوتوا) معناه: بطروا، وأشروا، وأعجبوا، وظنوا أن ذلك العطاء لا يبيد، وأنه دالٌّ على رضاء الله -عز وجل- عنهم، (أخذناهم بغتة) أي: استأصلناهم، وسطونا بهم، و(بغتة) معناه: فجأة؛ وهي الأخذ على غرّة. القرطبي:8/379.
