ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ يَعْرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَآءَهُمُ ۘ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ٢٠
ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
يَعۡرِفُونَهُۥ
كَمَا
يَعۡرِفُونَ
أَبۡنَآءَهُمُۘ
ٱلَّذِينَ

يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Aquellos a quienes les envié anteriormente el Libro [judíos y cristianos] reconocen [la profecía de Mujámmad] como reconocen a sus propios hijos, pero los que se han desviado a sí mismos se niegan a creer.

3. Prophet Ibrahim -peace be upon him- preached Tawhid. Other Prophets also gave the same message.

* It was revealed in Makkah about 1 or 2 years before the Hijrah.
* High emphasis on Tawhid (Creed). It contains basic principles of Tawhid. It gives beautiful description of Allah's creative power. It criticizes Shirk and its manifestations.
