تَعْرُجُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِى يَوْمٍۢ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ (سورۃ المعارج، آیت 4)
'فرشتے اور روح (جبریل) اُس کی طرف چڑھتے ہیں ایسے دن میں جس کی مقدار پچاس ہزار سال ہے۔'

I remember listening to a reminder where the Shaykh was comparing the length of the life of Uthman radi allahu anhu to the amount of time he has spent in his grave.
