كذبت قبلهم قوم نوح والاحزاب من بعدهم وهمت كل امة برسولهم لياخذوه وجادلوا بالباطل ليدحضوا به الحق فاخذتهم فكيف كان عقاب ٥
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍۢ وَٱلْأَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۖ وَهَمَّتْ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍۭ بِرَسُولِهِمْ لِيَأْخُذُوهُ ۖ وَجَـٰدَلُوا۟ بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا۟ بِهِ ٱلْحَقَّ فَأَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ ٥
كَذَّبَتۡ
قَبۡلَهُمۡ
قَوۡمُ
نُوحٖ
وَٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ
مِنۢ
بَعۡدِهِمۡۖ
وَهَمَّتۡ
كُلُّ
أُمَّةِۭ
بِرَسُولِهِمۡ
لِيَأۡخُذُوهُۖ
وَجَٰدَلُواْ
بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ
لِيُدۡحِضُواْ
بِهِ
ٱلۡحَقَّ
فَأَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ
فَكَيۡفَ
كَانَ
عِقَابِ
٥
antes que ellos el pueblo de Noé y los aliados también habían desmentido [el Mensaje]. Toda nación se complotó contra su Mensajero. Le discutían con argumentos falsos para destruir la Verdad, y por eso los castigué. ¡Qué terrible fue Mi castigo!

The Surah of 'The Believer'
Many scholars (such as Imam Bukhari and Imam Tirmidhi) refer to Surat Ghafer, Chapter 40, as the Surah of 'the believer' – سورة المؤمن.
This chapter narrates with some level of detail the story of Musa and the Pharaoh, and in particular the moment when the Pharaoh announced his clear intention to kill Musa [40:26].
