Sé paciente [¡Oh, Mujámmad!] ante lo que dicen, y recuerda a Mi siervo [el Profeta] David, quien fue dotado con una gran fuerza. Él siempre volvía a Dios en todos sus asuntos y se arrepentía con sinceridad.

اصبر -أيها الرسول- على ما يقولونه مما تكره، واذكر عبدنا داود صاحب القوة على أعداء الله والصبر على طاعته، إنه توَّاب كثير الرجوع إلى ما يرضي الله. وفي هذا تسلية للرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
