اصبر على ما يقولون واذكر عبدنا داوود ذا الايد انه اواب ١٧
ٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلْأَيْدِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ ١٧
ٱصۡبِرۡ
عَلَىٰ

وَٱذۡكُرۡ
عَبۡدَنَا
دَاوُۥدَ
ذَا
ٱلۡأَيۡدِۖ
إِنَّهُۥٓ
أَوَّابٌ
١٧
Sé paciente [¡Oh, Mujámmad!] ante lo que dicen, y recuerda a Mi siervo [el Profeta] David, quien fue dotado con una gran fuerza. Él siempre volvía a Dios en todos sus asuntos y se arrepentía con sinceridad.

Today I would like to reflect on Prophet Dawood AS. He had everything from materialistic and wordly point of view. He had wealth, He had power, He had strength, He was the king. Yet he didn't let any of this opulence to turn him away from his Master. In fact, it was quite the opposite.

You have to Love how Allah SW gives his servants certain qualities and then praises them and rewards them for these great qualities that ONLY Allah has given them.

ذكر داود ومن بعده من الأنبياء في هذه السورة فيه تسلية للنبي- صلى لله عليه وسلم-، ووعد له بالنصر، وتفريج الكرب، وإعانة له على ما أمر به من الصبر؛ وذلك أن الله ذكر ما أنعم به على داود من تسخير الطير والجبال، وشدّة ملكه، وإعطائه الحكمة، وفصل الخطاب، ثم الخاتمة له في الآخرة بالزلفى وحسن المآب؛ فكأنه يقول: يا محمد كما أنعمنا على داود بهذه النعم كذلك ننعم عليك، فاصبر ولا تحزن على ما يقولون. ابن جزي:2/249.
