ولو شاء ربك لجعل الناس كلهم جماعة واحدة على دين واحد وهو دين الإسلام، ولكنه سبحانه لم يشأ ذلك، فلا يزال الناس مختلفين في أديانهم; وذلك مقتضى حكمته.
