وَيُطۡعِمُونَ
ٱلطَّعَامَ
عَلَىٰ
حُبِّهِۦ
مِسۡكِينٗا
وَيَتِيمٗا
وَأَسِيرًا
٨

and give food—despite their desire for it—to the poor, the orphan, and the captive,

انما نطعمكم لوجه الله لا نريد منكم جزاء ولا شكورا ٩

إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءًۭ وَلَا شُكُورًا ٩

إِنَّمَا

نُطۡعِمُكُمۡ

لِوَجۡهِ

ٱللَّهِ

لَا

نُرِيدُ

مِنكُمۡ

جَزَآءٗ

وَلَا

شُكُورًا

˹saying to themselves,˺ “We feed you only for the sake of Allah, seeking neither reward nor thanks from you.

انا نخاف من ربنا يوما عبوسا قمطريرا ١٠

إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْمًا عَبُوسًۭا قَمْطَرِيرًۭا ١٠

يَوۡمًا

عَبُوسٗا

قَمۡطَرِيرٗا

١٠

We fear from our Lord a horribly distressful Day.”
