70:19
۞ ان الانسان خلق هلوعا ١٩
۞ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا ١٩
۞ إِنَّ
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
خُلِقَ
هَلُوعًا
١٩
Indeed, humankind was created impatient:

اذا مسه الشر جزوعا ٢٠
إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعًۭا ٢٠
إِذَا
مَسَّهُ
ٱلشَّرُّ
جَزُوعٗا
٢٠
distressed when touched with evil,

واذا مسه الخير منوعا ٢١
وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا ٢١
وَإِذَا
مَسَّهُ
ٱلۡخَيۡرُ
مَنُوعًا

and withholding when touched with good—

الا المصلين ٢٢
إِلَّا ٱلْمُصَلِّينَ ٢٢
إِلَّا
ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ

except those who pray,

الذين هم على صلاتهم دايمون ٢٣
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَآئِمُونَ ٢٣
ٱلَّذِينَ
هُمۡ
عَلَىٰ
صَلَاتِهِمۡ
دَآئِمُونَ
٢٣
consistently performing their prayers;

والذين في اموالهم حق معلوم ٢٤
وَٱلَّذِينَ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ ٢٤
وَٱلَّذِينَ
فِيٓ
أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
حَقّٞ
مَّعۡلُومٞ
٢٤
and who give the rightful share of their wealth

للسايل والمحروم ٢٥
لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ ٢٥
لِّلسَّآئِلِ
وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ
٢٥
to the beggar and the poor;

والذين يصدقون بيوم الدين ٢٦
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ٢٦
وَٱلَّذِينَ
يُصَدِّقُونَ
بِيَوۡمِ
ٱلدِّينِ
٢٦
and who ˹firmly˺ believe in the Day of Judgment;

والذين هم من عذاب ربهم مشفقون ٢٧
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ ٢٧
وَٱلَّذِينَ
هُم
مِّنۡ
عَذَابِ
رَبِّهِم
مُّشۡفِقُونَ
٢٧
and those who fear the punishment of their Lord—

ان عذاب ربهم غير مامون ٢٨
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍۢ ٢٨
إِنَّ
عَذَابَ
رَبِّهِمۡ
غَيۡرُ
مَأۡمُونٖ
٢٨
˹knowing that˺ none should feel secure from their Lord’s punishment—

والذين هم لفروجهم حافظون ٢٩
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَـٰفِظُونَ ٢٩
وَٱلَّذِينَ
هُمۡ
لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ
حَٰفِظُونَ
٢٩
and those who guard their chastity

70:30
الا على ازواجهم او ما ملكت ايمانهم فانهم غير ملومين ٣٠
إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزْوَٰجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَـٰنُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ ٣٠
إِلَّا
عَلَىٰٓ
أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ
أَوۡ
مَا
مَلَكَتۡ
أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ
فَإِنَّهُمۡ
غَيۡرُ
مَلُومِينَ
٣٠
except with their wives or those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession,
1
for then they are free from blame,

70:31
فمن ابتغى وراء ذالك فاولايك هم العادون ٣١
فَمَنِ ٱبْتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْعَادُونَ ٣١
فَمَنِ
ٱبۡتَغَىٰ
وَرَآءَ
ذَٰلِكَ
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
هُمُ
ٱلۡعَادُونَ
٣١
but whoever seeks beyond that are the transgressors.

70:32
والذين هم لاماناتهم وعهدهم راعون ٣٢
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَـٰنَـٰتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَٰعُونَ ٣٢
وَٱلَّذِينَ
هُمۡ
لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ
وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ
رَٰعُونَ
٣٢
˹The faithful are˺ also those who are true to their trusts and covenants;

والذين هم بشهاداتهم قايمون ٣٣
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَـٰدَٰتِهِمْ قَآئِمُونَ ٣٣
وَٱلَّذِينَ
هُم
بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمۡ
قَآئِمُونَ
٣٣
and who are honest in their testimony;

والذين هم على صلاتهم يحافظون ٣٤
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ ٣٤
وَٱلَّذِينَ
هُمۡ
عَلَىٰ
صَلَاتِهِمۡ
يُحَافِظُونَ
٣٤
and who are ˹properly˺ observant of their prayers.

اولايك في جنات مكرمون ٣٥
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍۢ مُّكْرَمُونَ ٣٥
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
فِي
جَنَّٰتٖ
مُّكۡرَمُونَ
٣٥
These will be in Gardens, held in honour.

فمال الذين كفروا قبلك مهطعين ٣٦
فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ ٣٦
فَمَالِ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
قِبَلَكَ
مُهۡطِعِينَ
٣٦
So what is the matter with the disbelievers that they rush ˹head-long˺ towards you ˹O Prophet˺,

عن اليمين وعن الشمال عزين ٣٧
عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ ٣٧
عَنِ
ٱلۡيَمِينِ
وَعَنِ
ٱلشِّمَالِ
عِزِينَ
٣٧
from the right and the left, in groups ˹to mock you˺?

ايطمع كل امري منهم ان يدخل جنة نعيم ٣٨
أَيَطْمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُدْخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٍۢ ٣٨
أَيَطۡمَعُ
كُلُّ
ٱمۡرِيٕٖ
مِّنۡهُمۡ
أَن
يُدۡخَلَ
جَنَّةَ
نَعِيمٖ
٣٨
Does every one of them expect to be admitted into a Garden of Bliss?

70:39
كلا انا خلقناهم مما يعلمون ٣٩
كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعْلَمُونَ ٣٩
كـَلَّآۖ
إِنَّا
خَلَقۡنَٰهُم
مِّمَّا
يَعۡلَمُونَ
٣٩
But no! Indeed, they ˹already˺ know what We created them from.

فلا اقسم برب المشارق والمغارب انا لقادرون ٤٠
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْمَشَـٰرِقِ وَٱلْمَغَـٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَـٰدِرُونَ ٤٠
فَلَآ
أُقۡسِمُ
بِرَبِّ
ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ
وَٱلۡمَغَٰرِبِ
إِنَّا
لَقَٰدِرُونَ
٤٠
So, I do swear by the Lord of ˹all˺ the points of sunrise and sunset

that We are truly capable

Indeed, humankind was created impatient:
