ونفس وما سواها ٧

وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا ٧

وَنَفۡسٖ
وَمَا
سَوَّىٰهَا
٧

And by the soul and ˹the One˺ Who fashioned it,

فالهمها فجورها وتقواها ٨

فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا ٨

فَأَلۡهَمَهَا

فُجُورَهَا

وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا

٨

then with ˹the knowledge of˺ right and wrong inspired it!

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا ٩

قَدۡ

أَفۡلَحَ

زَكَّىٰهَا

Successful indeed is the one who purifies their soul,
