At-Táuba 9:6 وان احد من المشركين استجارك فاجره حتى يسمع كلام الله ثم ابلغه مامنه ذالك بانهم قوم لا يعلمون ٦
وَإِنۡ
أَحَدٞ
مِّنَ
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
ٱسۡتَجَارَكَ
فَأَجِرۡهُ
حَتَّىٰ
يَسۡمَعَ
كَلَٰمَ
ٱللَّهِ
ثُمَّ
أَبۡلِغۡهُ
مَأۡمَنَهُۥۚ
ذَٰلِكَ
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
قَوۡمٞ
لَّا
يَعۡلَمُونَ
٦
And if any one of the Mushriks seeks your protection, give him protection until he listens to the Word of Allah, then let him reach his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Idolators are granted Safe Passage if They seek It
Allah said to His Prophet, peace be upon him,
وَإِنْ أَحَدٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
(And if anyone of the Mushrikin), whom you were commanded to fight and We allowed you their blood and property,'
