وَإِذَا
مَآ
أُنزِلَتۡ
سُورَةٞ
نَّظَرَ
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
إِلَىٰ
بَعۡضٍ
هَلۡ
يَرَىٰكُم
مِّنۡ
أَحَدٖ
ثُمَّ
ٱنصَرَفُواْۚ
صَرَفَ
ٱللَّهُ
قُلُوبَهُم
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
قَوۡمٞ
لَّا
يَفۡقَهُونَ

ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಅಧ್ಯಾಯವು ಅವತೀರ್ಣವಾದಾಗ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು “ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ತಾನೇ?” ಎಂಬರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತರರನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಾಹು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವರು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಜನರಾಗಿರುವುದೇ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ.

Hypocrites suffer Afflictions
Allah says, do not these hypocrites see,
أَنَّهُمْ يُفْتَنُونَ
(that they are put in trial), being tested,
فِى كُلِّ عَامٍ مَّرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ لاَ يَتُوبُونَ وَلاَ هُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
