وَمَا
كَانَ
ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
لِأَبِيهِ
إِلَّا
عَن
مَّوۡعِدَةٖ
وَعَدَهَآ
إِيَّاهُ
فَلَمَّا
تَبَيَّنَ
لَهُۥٓ
أَنَّهُۥ
عَدُوّٞ
لِّلَّهِ
تَبَرَّأَ
مِنۡهُۚ
إِنَّ
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
لَأَوَّٰهٌ
حَلِيمٞ
١١٤
Cererea de iertare a lui Avraam pentru tatăl său nu a fost decât din pricina unei făgăduinţe pe care i‑a făcut‑o.1 Dar când i‑a devenit limpede că el este vrăjmaş al lui Allah, atunci s‑a dezlegat de el. Avraam era milos şi blând.
