مَا
كَانَ
لِلنَّبِيِّ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
أَن
يَسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ
لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
وَلَوۡ
كَانُوٓاْ
أُوْلِي
قُرۡبَىٰ
مِنۢ
بَعۡدِ
مَا
تَبَيَّنَ
لَهُمۡ
أَنَّهُمۡ
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

இணைவைத்து வணங்குபவர்களுக்காக மன்னிப்புக் கோருவது நபிக்கோ நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக்கோ தகுமானதல்ல; அவர்கள் (இவர்களுக்கு) நெருங்கிய உறவிர்களாகயிருந்தாலும் சரியே! அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக நரகவாசிகள்தான் என்று இவர்களுக்குத் தெளிவானதன் பின்னர் (எவ்வாறு அவர்களுக்கு மன்னிப்புக் கோரலாம்?)
