Ash-Shuraa 42:7 وكذالك اوحينا اليك قرانا عربيا لتنذر ام القرى ومن حولها وتنذر يوم الجمع لا ريب فيه فريق في الجنة وفريق في السعير ٧
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
أَوۡحَيۡنَآ
إِلَيۡكَ
قُرۡءَانًا
عَرَبِيّٗا
لِّتُنذِرَ
أُمَّ
ٱلۡقُرَىٰ
وَمَنۡ
حَوۡلَهَا
وَتُنذِرَ
يَوۡمَ
ٱلۡجَمۡعِ
لَا
رَيۡبَ
فِيهِۚ
فَرِيقٞ
فِي
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
وَفَرِيقٞ
فِي
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
٧
Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.

The Qur'an was revealed to serve as a Warning
Allah says, `just as We sent revelation to the Prophets before you,'
أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ قُرْءَاناً عَرَبِيّاً
