كون إنزال القرآن هنا في الليل دون النهار مشعر بفضل اختصاص الليل. وقد أشار القرآن والسنة إلى نظائره؛ فمن القرآن قوله تعالى: ﴿سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَسۡرَىٰ بِعَبۡدِهِۦ لَيۡلٗا﴾ [الإسراء: 1]، ومنه قوله: ﴿وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَتَهَجَّدۡ بِهِۦ نَافِلَةً لَّكَ﴾ [الإسراء: 79]، ﴿وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَأَدۡبَٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ﴾ [ق: 40]، ﴿إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ ٱلَّيۡلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطۡـٔٗا وَأَقۡوَمُ قِيلًا﴾ [المزمل: 6]، وقوله: ﴿كَانُواْ قَلِيلٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ مَ...عرض المزيد

Perhaps Allah SWT blessed you with the reward for more than a thousand months for your very little struggle on Laylatul Qadr , but perhaps you needed just one more night for your salvation.
And Allah is the Most merciful , Maybe He just wants to see how much effort you would put in
Never underestimate the even nights
And wait for the next odd night

Reflections on Surah 97 - Laylat al-Qadr

شبِ قدر وہ بابرکت رات ہے جس میں قرآن نازل کیا گیا۔ نزولِ قرآن کا یہ عظیم واقعہ اسی رات پیش آیا، جس نے اس رات کو بھی برکت بخشی اور اس سے جڑی ہر چیز کو رفعت عطا کی خواہ وہ مہینہ ہو (رمضان) یا خود وہ رات (لیلۃ القدر)۔
قرآن جس چیز سے بھی وابستہ ہوا، اسے عزت اور شرف بخشا۔ اس رات کا ہزار مہینوں سے بہتر ہونا دراصل قرآن کی برکتوں کی وسعت کا محض ایک ہلکا سا اشارہ ہے۔ اسی مفہوم کی طرف اللہ تعالیٰ اس آیت میں رہنمائی فرماتے ہیں

Sometimes I wonder what useless activities I must have been wasting my time with on all of the Laylatul Qadr nights that happened before I was a Muslim, having no clue what Laylutul Qadr even is.
Its like one nignt a year where you can go to the good deed bank with a $1 bill and exchange it for about $30,000 (1000 months × 30 days).

It was narrated from 'Aishah RA that she said:
'O Messenger of Allah SAW, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?' He said:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
'O Lord, You embody pardon, You delight in pardoning, so cloak me in Your pardon.'
Sunan Ibn Majah, 3850
