وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّۢ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍۢ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ ١٧

Quran 6:17 provides both reassurance and admonition: it teaches that both difficulties and successes are within Allah’s dominion, and a believer’s response should be guided by patience, gratitude, humility, and trust in His wisdom. It invites reflection on personal reliance on Allah rather than worldly certainty, framing every human experience as an opportunity to recognize divine sovereignty and align with His guidance.

Verse of Tranquility
I love reading this verse which gives me a lot of comfort and there is one similar to it in Surah An’am
وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا

It appears in Sahih Ahadith that the Holy Prophet (وسلم وآلہ عليہ ہللا صلی ) used to say this in his prayers very often:
