The time you spend sending prayers upon the Prophetﷺ, is a reflection of how much you desire to be near to him on that day.
We learn from narrations of the Prophet (ﷺ) that there are many virtues of sending salawat (blessings and greetings) upon him. The Prophet (ﷺ) taught us that whenever we send blessings upon him once, Allah (SWT) write ten good deeds for us, forgives us of ten sins, elevates our statuses, and showers us with His mercy.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us that being pleasant and courteous with people is an act of great reward.
