Anas b. Mâlik narrates that the Prophet (saws) said:
'Allah, Mighty and Majestic, appointed an Angel in the womb who says: ‘O my Lord, a drop of semen; O my Lord, a clinging clot; O my Lord, a lump of flesh.’ Then when He wishes to decree its form, the Angel asks: ‘Male or female? Doomed or prosperous? What is its provision? What is its lifespan?’ He then writes it down in the womb of its mother.'

The main purpose of Hajj is to ‘remember Allah’

In verse 1, put simply, God did not come to play. Allah sets the scene for very serious warnings. Allah uses the world 'zalzalat' in reference to the Day of Judgement, and while it refers to the physical quaking/shaking of the Earth, we can understand it as so awe-strikingly terrifying that it 'shakes' each creation of Allah; human, jinn, animals, and even mountains.
