وَمِنۡ
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
يُرِيكُمُ
ٱلۡبَرۡقَ
خَوۡفٗا
وَطَمَعٗا
وَيُنَزِّلُ
مِنَ
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
مَآءٗ
فَيُحۡيِۦ
بِهِ
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
بَعۡدَ
مَوۡتِهَآۚ
إِنَّ
فِي
ذَٰلِكَ
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
لِّقَوۡمٖ
يَعۡقِلُونَ
٢٤
තවද භීතිය හා බලාපොරොත්තු තබන්නක් වශයෙන් ඔහු නුඹලාට අකුණු සැර පෙන්වීමත් අහසින් ජලය පහළ කොට එමඟින් මහපොළොව එය මළ පසුව යළි ජීවමාන කිරීමත් ඔහුගේ සංඥා අතරිනි. නියත වශයෙන් ම එහි වටහා ගන්නා ජනයාට සංඥා ඇත.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَمِنْ ءَايَتِهِ
(And among His signs) which speak of His greatness,
يُرِيكُمُ الْبَرْقَ خَوْفاً وَطَمَعاً
(He shows you the lightning, for fear and for hope,) Sometimes you fear the heavy rain and destructive thunderbolts that follow it, and sometimes you feel hope, when you see a flash of lightning,
