An-Nisaa 4:101 واذا ضربتم في الارض فليس عليكم جناح ان تقصروا من الصلاة ان خفتم ان يفتنكم الذين كفروا ان الكافرين كانوا لكم عدوا مبينا ١٠١
وَإِذَا
ضَرَبۡتُمۡ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
فَلَيۡسَ
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
جُنَاحٌ
أَن
تَقۡصُرُواْ
مِنَ
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
إِنۡ
خِفۡتُمۡ
أَن
يَفۡتِنَكُمُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوٓاْۚ
إِنَّ
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
كَانُواْ
لَكُمۡ
عَدُوّٗا
مُّبِينٗا
١٠١
When you travel through the land, it is permissible for you to shorten the prayer1—˹especially˺ if you fear an attack by the disbelievers. Indeed, the disbelievers are your sworn enemies.

Salat Al-Qasr, Shortening the Prayer
Allah said,
وَإِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى الاٌّرْضِ
(And when you Darabtum in the land,) meaning if you travel in the land. In another Ayah, Allah said,
أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُمْ مَّرْضَى وَءَاخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِى الاٌّرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَءَاخَرُونَ
