Al-Mujadilah 58:9 يا ايها الذين امنوا اذا تناجيتم فلا تتناجوا بالاثم والعدوان ومعصيت الرسول وتناجوا بالبر والتقوى واتقوا الله الذي اليه تحشرون ٩
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
إِذَا
تَنَٰجَيۡتُمۡ
فَلَا
تَتَنَٰجَوۡاْ
بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ
وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِ
وَمَعۡصِيَتِ
ٱلرَّسُولِ
وَتَنَٰجَوۡاْ
بِٱلۡبِرِّ
وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ
وَٱتَّقُواْ
ٱللَّهَ
ٱلَّذِيٓ
إِلَيۡهِ
تُحۡشَرُونَ
٩
O you who have believed, when you converse privately, do not converse about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger but converse about righteousness and piety. And fear Allāh, to whom you will be gathered.

Ibn Abi Najih reported from Mujahid,
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ نُهُواْ عَنِ النَّجْوَى ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُواْ عَنْهُ
(Have you not seen those who were forbidden to hold secret counsels, and afterwards returned to that which they had been forbidden,) He said, "The Jews." S
