Al-Maidah 5:81 ولو كانوا يومنون بالله والنبي وما انزل اليه ما اتخذوهم اولياء ولاكن كثيرا منهم فاسقون ٨١
وَلَوۡ
كَانُواْ
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
بِٱللَّهِ
وَٱلنَّبِيِّ
وَمَآ
أُنزِلَ
إِلَيۡهِ
مَا
ٱتَّخَذُوهُمۡ
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
وَلَٰكِنَّ
كَثِيرٗا
مِّنۡهُمۡ
فَٰسِقُونَ
٨١
For had they truly believed in Allah and the Messenger and what was sent down to him, they would not have taken unbelievers (instead of believers) for their allies.1 But many of them have rebelled against Allah altogether.

Allah Cursed the Disbelievers Among the Children of Israel
Allah states that He has cursed the disbelievers among the Children of Israel long ago, and revealed this fact to His Prophets Dawud and `Isa, son of Maryam. He cursed them because they disobeyed Allah and transgressed against His creatures.
