Al-Ma'idah 5:19 يا اهل الكتاب قد جاءكم رسولنا يبين لكم على فترة من الرسل ان تقولوا ما جاءنا من بشير ولا نذير فقد جاءكم بشير ونذير والله على كل شيء قدير ١٩
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
قَدۡ
جَآءَكُمۡ
رَسُولُنَا
يُبَيِّنُ
لَكُمۡ
عَلَىٰ
فَتۡرَةٖ
مِّنَ
ٱلرُّسُلِ
أَن
تَقُولُواْ
مَا
جَآءَنَا
مِنۢ
بَشِيرٖ
وَلَا
نَذِيرٖۖ
فَقَدۡ
جَآءَكُم
بَشِيرٞ
وَنَذِيرٞۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
عَلَىٰ
كُلِّ
شَيۡءٖ
قَدِيرٞ
١٩
O, oameni ai Scripturii, l-am trimis Noi pe Trimisul Nostru [Mohammed] la voi ca să vă arate vouă [religia], la o vreme după [ceilalți] Trimiși, pentru ca voi să nu spuneți: „Nu ne-a venit nouă niciun vestitor și niciun prevenitor.” Acum v-a venit vouă vestitor și prevenitor. Și Allah este cu Putere peste toate.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَلَبِثُواْ فِى كَهْفِهِمْ ثَلاثَ مِئَةٍ سِنِينَ وَازْدَادُواْ تِسْعًا
(And they stayed in their Cave three hundred years, adding nine.) meaning, nine more lunar years to substitute for the difference between lunar and solar years, thus agreeing with the three hundred years that the People of the Boo
