قَالَ
قَدۡ
وَقَعَ
عَلَيۡكُم
مِّن
رَّبِّكُمۡ
رِجۡسٞ
وَغَضَبٌۖ
أَتُجَٰدِلُونَنِي
فِيٓ
أَسۡمَآءٖ
سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ
أَنتُمۡ
وَءَابَآؤُكُم
مَّا
نَزَّلَ
ٱللَّهُ
بِهَا
مِن
سُلۡطَٰنٖۚ
فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ
إِنِّي
مَعَكُم
مِّنَ
ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ

[Hud] a spus: „Pedeapsa și mânia Domnului vostru v-a ajuns deja. Vă certați cu mine pentru niște nume pe care voi și părinții voștri le-ați dat1 și despre care Allah nu a pogorât nicio dovadă? Atunci așteptați! Cu adevărat eu voi fi împreună cu voi printre cei care așteaptă.”

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah mentions the rebellion, defiance and stubbornness of Hud'speople, and their opposition to him, peace be upon him,
قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَحْدَهُ
(They said: "You have come to us that we should worship Allah Alone") Later on, the disbelievers of Quraysh said,
وَإِذْ قَالُواْ اللّ
