قَالُوٓاْ
أَجِئۡتَنَا
لِنَعۡبُدَ
ٱللَّهَ
وَحۡدَهُۥ
وَنَذَرَ
مَا
كَانَ
يَعۡبُدُ
ءَابَآؤُنَا
فَأۡتِنَا
بِمَا
تَعِدُنَآ
إِن
كُنتَ
مِنَ
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
٧٠
Ei au spus: „Ai venit la noi pentru ca noi să-L adorăm [numai] pe Allah singur și să părăsim ceea ce au adorat părinții noștri? Atunci adu asupra noastră ceea ce ne promiți1, dacă tu ești dintre cei ce spun adevărul.”

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah mentions the rebellion, defiance and stubbornness of Hud'speople, and their opposition to him, peace be upon him,
قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَحْدَهُ
(They said: "You have come to us that we should worship Allah Alone") Later on, the disbelievers of Quraysh said,
وَإِذْ قَالُواْ اللّ
