وَهُوَ
ٱلَّذِي
جَعَلَكُمۡ
خَلَٰٓئِفَ
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
وَرَفَعَ
بَعۡضَكُمۡ
فَوۡقَ
بَعۡضٖ
دَرَجَٰتٖ
لِّيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ
فِي
مَآ
ءَاتَىٰكُمۡۗ
إِنَّ
رَبَّكَ
سَرِيعُ
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
وَإِنَّهُۥ
لَغَفُورٞ
رَّحِيمُۢ
١٦٥
Ал силерди жер бетинде (бири-бириңерге) орунбасар кылган жана Өзү берген нерселерде силерди сыноо үчүн кээ бирөөңөрдү кээ бирөөңөрдөн бир нече даража жогору кылган (Аллах). Чынында, сенин Раббиң тез эсептешүүчү! Ал чынында Кечиримдүү, Ырайымдуу!

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah Made Mankind Dwellers on the earth, Generation After Generation, of Various Grades, in order to Test Them
Allah said,
وَهُوَ الَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَئِفَ الاٌّرْضِ
(And it is He Who has made you generations coming after generations, replacing each other on the earth.) meaning, He made you dwell on
