يَنظُرُونَ
إِلَّآ
أَن
تَأۡتِيَهُمُ
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
أَوۡ
يَأۡتِيَ
رَبُّكَ
أَوۡ
يَأۡتِيَ
بَعۡضُ
ءَايَٰتِ
رَبِّكَۗ
يَوۡمَ
يَأۡتِي
بَعۡضُ
ءَايَٰتِ
رَبِّكَ
لَا
يَنفَعُ
نَفۡسًا
إِيمَٰنُهَا
لَمۡ
تَكُنۡ
ءَامَنَتۡ
مِن
قَبۡلُ
أَوۡ
كَسَبَتۡ
فِيٓ
إِيمَٰنِهَا
خَيۡرٗاۗ
قُلِ
ٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ
إِنَّا
مُنتَظِرُونَ

ਕੀ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਰੱਬ ਆਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਰੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਆਵੇ? ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਰੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਆ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਈਮਾਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਸ (ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ) ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਈਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਸੀ,1 ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਈਮਾਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੋਈ ਨੇਕ ਅਮਲ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ। (ਹੇ ਨਬੀ!) ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ (ਰੱਬੀ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦੀ) ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

Allah sternly threatens the disbelievers, those who defy His Messengers, deny His Ayat and hinder from His path,
