Al-An’ám 6:147 فان كذبوك فقل ربكم ذو رحمة واسعة ولا يرد باسه عن القوم المجرمين ١٤٧
فَإِن
كَذَّبُوكَ
فَقُل
رَّبُّكُمۡ
ذُو
رَحۡمَةٖ
وَٰسِعَةٖ
وَلَا
يُرَدُّ
بَأۡسُهُۥ
عَنِ
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
١٤٧
So if they deny you, [O Muḥammad], say, "Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy; but His punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals."
Lee Tafsir
Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
فَقُل رَّبُّكُمْ ذُو رَحْمَةٍ وَسِعَةٍ
(Say: "Your Lord is the Owner of vast mercy...") encouraging them to seek Allah's vast mercy and follow His Messenger,
وَلاَ يُرَدُّ بَأْسُهُ عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
(and never will His wrath be turned back from the people who are criminals.) discouraging th
