ٱلنَّبِيُّ
أَوۡلَىٰ
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
مِنۡ
أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ
وَأَزۡوَٰجُهُۥٓ
أُمَّهَٰتُهُمۡۗ
وَأُوْلُواْ
ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِ
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
أَوۡلَىٰ
بِبَعۡضٖ
فِي
كِتَٰبِ
ٱللَّهِ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
وَٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
إِلَّآ
أَن
تَفۡعَلُوٓاْ
إِلَىٰٓ
أَوۡلِيَآئِكُم
مَّعۡرُوفٗاۚ
كَانَ
ذَٰلِكَ
فِي
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
مَسۡطُورٗا
٦
Profetul este [mai apropiat și] mai îndreptățit față de dreptcredincioși decât își sunt ei înșiși, iar soțiile sale sunt mamele lor. Rudele de sânge sunt mai îndreptățite între ele [în privința succesiunii], după Cartea lui Allah, decât dreptcredincioșii [de la Medina] și decât însoțitorii lui emigranți [de la Mecca], afară de ceea ce [voiți] să dați ca binefacere aliaților voștri și aceasta se află scrisă în Carte1.

Loyalty to the Prophet ; and his wives are Mothers of the Believers
Allah tells us how His Messenger is merciful and sincere towards his Ummah, and how he is closer to them than they are to themselves. His judgement or ruling takes precedence over their own choices for themselves, as Allah says:
