There is an end to any tour. Life in the world is also a journey. People are in a special situation when they go out on tour. He does not carry anything except the essentials. He doesn't buy as many beautiful things as he sees in the market. That will increase the burden! He can't sleep in a hurry to catch the car. Allah has repeatedly reminded us of our destination:

1. On that day, all will travel to your Lord (Qiyamah, 30).

2. It i...

In the story of Musa (peace be upon him) and Firawn, the magic of Firawn's magicians were utterly knocked out and defeated - and it happened so only by the will of Allah. Theirs was only a trick.

All Musa had to do was to put his trust in his Lord and listen to His command (to throw down his staff) and then instantly the staff turned into a snake and devoured their slithering snake-imitating illusions.

Well, if we now internalize that story, ...

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

Mankind will invent all sorts of things, mankind will discover all sorts of things, people have written volumes of encyclopaedias, some people have such a capacity to store and memorise intricate details and are able to solve the most difficult maths and physics equations. Mankind will achieve some status and sometimes some limited power.

Yet, seldom few question their very ow...

If we didn't know anything about astrophysics and we looked up at the night sky, we might assume the moon is glowing from within, just like the other small stars that glow at night. It would be hard to believe that it is reflecting light - particularly while it is surrounded by darkness.

Sometimes human beings, when surrounded by the darkness of misguidance, will assume the same about themselves. That every good thing, or every good quality they...

I have always considered myself a wildly independent person; so these verses are truly humbling. The truth is I am in need all the time. Not only do I need Allah, but Allah has caused us to need each other.

If only I recognized in every moment how much I truly need and depend on Allah for literally everything... Perhaps that constant recognition could help prevent my daily transgressions.

The earth is like a womb to us. We think we are independent in sustaining ourselves while overburdening and draining her, untill we are born into to the next world.
