Reflecting on the commentary in Ma'arif Al-Quran, there are three types of pens in this world:

(1) The Pen that Allah created with His own Hand, commanding it to inscribe the decree of all that was, is, and will ever be.

So why do we worry, when the One who wrote our story is also the Most Merciful? Yet in our haste, we forget—He is always in control.

(2) The pens of the angels, who record every destined event and its magnitude. They also insc...

When is the last time you write something with pen/pencil and paper. Grocery list maybe 🤔. People almost discarded pens/ pencils as a outdated item. It is a rare scene nowadays where someone is sitting in desk and writing. When someone see my handwritten staff, the most common comment is where do you get time? Who writes with pen today? Your life may be so relaxed etc😀.
I often wander, if pen would be a useless thing today Allah wouldn’t menti...

While reading the Ayah of Surah Alaq , 'who taught by [means] of the pen', I found a link between learning through writing and the PEN. Why do the God used the word Pen in the Ayah? Who did He taught by pen? Prophet? But , Prophets received revelations. He imparted knowledge by means of the pen. Its important to think that humans learn more from the books. And our knowledge treasure enhances when we read extensively. But, can humans keep in m...See more

'No one can grasp any of His knowledge- except what He wills (to reveal).'

I find that this ayah echoes deeply with verses 96:4–5:
'Who taught by the pen – taught humanity what they knew not.'

Sometimes, we forget. We can become just a bit too proud of the knowledge we acquire and carry, feeling as though it’s entirely from our own effort. We credit our sleepless nights, our revisions, our sacrifices, our ability to understand what we learn a...

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

Mankind will invent all sorts of things, mankind will discover all sorts of things, people have written volumes of encyclopaedias, some people have such a capacity to store and memorise intricate details and are able to solve the most difficult maths and physics equations. Mankind will achieve some status and sometimes some limited power.

Yet, seldom few question their very ow...

The power of writing is transformative, it takes fleeting thoughts and turns them into tangible actions. For me, writing became a tool for clarity, reflection, and self-growth. Before I started documenting my thoughts, ideas would come and go, often lost in the chaos of daily life. But when I began writing, everything changed.

Writing forced me to pause and organize my thoughts. It allowed me to pour out my duas, reflect on my goals, and connect...

Allah teaching us what we know is purely from His unmatched generosity. Anyone who doesn't bother to make time for attaining knowledge thereby rejects the grace and blessing that Allah bestowed upon us.

#Knowledge, #Purification, and #Activism are inseparable and important components to any believer. The first verses to be revealed in the Holy Quran started with these three components and requirements: Read (knowledge), Prayer & Qiyam (Purification), and Warn and spread the message (Activism).

This instruction was the first instruction given to our blessed Prophet peace and blessings be upon him, not once but twice.

Our blessed Prophet peace and blessings be upon him was a man who could not read or write. But this preliminary instruction was bestowed upon him through Angel Gabriel. Thus, it has been bestowed through the blessed Prophet peace be upon him also t...
