We often get into situations which are overwhelming such as losing a job, being diagnosed with a serious illness or struggling to pay debt etc. Now, all of us react differently to such situations. One's initial reaction maybe 'oh no, what am I going to do now', 'why has this happened to me?!'. It, then, seems like there is no way out with a lot of anxiety. However, we may make the situation worst by such reactions. On the other hand, there are so...See more

Is It Allah's Punishment or His Blessing?
A few months ago, I found myself in a difficult situation. There was something I really wanted—something I believed was crucial for me at the time. And of course, like any believer would, I turned to the One who controls all things: Allah.
I began asking for it in du’a, thinking surely, soon, Allah will give me what I’m asking for.
But it was delayed.
So I increased my istighfar, became more sincere in my...

“Indeed, with hardship comes ease” (94:6)

Recently, I was with my family in our kitchen talking about the dos and don'ts in Islam. I noticed my father looking at me in a way that signalled his worry about something, and I gently asked what he was thinking about. Taking some time, he replied, “I am thinking about your recently held exam. I was expecting your selection...but ....i m very sad... ” Taking a little pause, he continued, “May Allah gra...

Pain is such a blessing I say..
I usually say that because without pain what would be the worth of relief.
what value would happiness hold without it.
None.
But the relief comes after the pain is gone right?
We don't cry n feel the relief at the same moment.
the pain has its due course and then the relief comes?
Yes and No..
We often think of relief or ease as something that follows pain.

But the Qur'an doesn’t say 'بعد العسر يسر' (after hards...

Hardships are blessings. Hardships are hidden fortune.

Yes, they feel overwhelming. It can feel like life is falling apart, like every door is closing. But often, this is how Allah (SWT) lovingly calls His servant back to Him.

This is how Allah (SWT), Ar-Rahman, shows His immense love—by guiding us away from the distractions of this dunya, pulling us toward Him before we drift too far. He doesn’t want us to suffer punishment in the Hereafter. H...

﷽

It feels like our lives follow the pattern described in the verse 'فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا' — 'Indeed, with hardship comes ease.'

This divine promise is not just a comforting phrase but a reality that plays out in every aspect of our existence, from the micro details of each day to the broader story of our lives.

On a daily level, we go through moments that test our patience—times when obstacles seem to break us down. Yet, with the pa...

Life can feel super overwhelming sometimes. When you're struggling, it’s easy to think, Why is this happening to me? But in the Qur'an, Allah says:

'Perhaps you dislike something, and it is good for you; and perhaps you love something, and it is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know.' (2:216)

This verse is such a reality check. It’s like a reminder that what feels hard right now could actually be setting you up for something better. Eve...

We have come across the saying 'Time heals everything'. When we lose a loved one, grief takes over our hearts like dark clouds and the pain is palpable every moment of the day and night. However, few months or years down the road, we still may be grieving and missing the loved one but the pain is nowhere close to what it was on day one. Allah swt owns everything including time. He created time - which is described in terms of seconds, minutes, ...See more

In today’s world, we’re constantly overwhelmed — grades, deadlines, comparison, heartbreak, the pressure to be more, do more, look more. It’s easy to feel like life is just one wave after another. But on this sacred Day of Arafah, pause and remember this Divine promise:

'إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا'
'Indeed, with hardship comes ease.' (Surah Ash-Sharh 94:6)

It’s not just about waiting for better days — it’s about noticing the ease that's alrea...
